About Jared Hatcliff
Jared Hatcliffe is a battle-tested trial attorney known for his commanding courtroom presence and relentless preparation. He prides himself on trying difficult cases rather than avoiding them, drawing on more than 25 years of high-stakes personal injury and civil litigation experience throughout New York. Mr. Hatcliffe has a keen ability to expose the weaknesses in an opponent’s case.
Mr. Hatcliffe has vast experience obtaining recovery for his clients at settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Notably, Mr. Hatcliffe served as Senior Trial Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where he litigated hundreds of jury trials in state and federal courts involving civil rights, municipal liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Having spent decades on the defense side, he knows exactly how insurance carriers and government agencies evaluate risk and minimize compensation, and how to dismantle those strategies.
Mr. Hatcliffe also serves as Associate Director of Advocacy at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and has been named Adjunct Professor of the Year three times.
